* ABSTRACT
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Merry Christmas!

For you working stiffs that have to do business even over the holidays...well, at least Mario's working alongside y'all. The Wrecking Crew has called upon Mario once more, and now he dons some familiar (and not-so familiar) threads!

Now updated for the modern era, of course. Clothes from 20-odd years ago don't quite hold up, don'tcha know? But with these new threads, comes some duplicates. After all, if one can get a certain dress in a certain color, why not working overalls and hard hats?

So, with that out of the way, let's go to the contents:

* CONTENTS
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Any work safety guide worth its salt has to let workplace people know what to expect, right? So, in this pack one should see:

1.) This readme. If you didn't, you wouldn't be reading this, now would you?

2.) Costume Files. Unlike other mods released by Gimmick Industries, there's a bit of a set-up in play. That's because of two things:

	* There are 12 costumes in total. Which is a lot to take in for some people.
	* There are two costume sets -- A Wrecking Crew outfit, and a Wrecking Crew '98 outfit.

For the sake of not having files just strewn about, we've compiled the costumes into separate sections. These sections are labeled "Wrecking Crew CLASSIC" and "Wrecking Crew '98". Each costume name also contains its color, so one doesn't have to guess and make a catastrophic mistake.

3.) Cosmetics. Like signs and other visual tells, these cosmetics give you, your fellow coworkers, and any pedestrians a handy visual guide as to what to expect from these costumes, without having to dig through the files proper. From CSPs, to BPs, and even STCs...we here at Gimmick Industries prioritize our workers' safety. And as such, we left no stone unturned. We also have separated the cosmetics by the set they belong to, just like the costumes.

We also have SD and HD cosmetics for both Dolphin and Wii users. The STCs also come in CI4 and Color Smashed variants.

* CURRENT ISSUES
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Our thorough testing from our partners and work staff have shown no notable errors at this moment, since the time this was written up.

...However, a bug was found after the release of this costume set. So much for quality control...

* UPDATE HISTORY
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

12/25/2020 - Initial Release.

12/27/2020 - Fixed an issue regarding missing cape textures for each of the costumes. Namely for PM-based builds.

* CREDITS
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gimmick Industries is proud of its great working relationship with various partners. In no small part, they were essential in the completion of this project. So, we would like to extend a formal thank you to:

* Sylv, KoryTheMaril, Xenthos - Creators of the Wrecking Crew Redux costume. The costume that this recolor combo set was based off on. In fact, the Classic set, while it can stand on its own, it will feel more complete alongside this one.

Sylv was also instrumental in providing the CSP Render scene/set-up that made the rendering process much easier. After all -- consistency is important.

* bizzozeron - Creator of the original Wrecking Crew Redux Costume. The original "CEO" of sorts, who started it all.

* Cosmetic Standardization Project - For the CSProject system. As per usual, if one wants clean, professional, and high-quality renders and cosmetics...you go here.

* Custom Brawl Modding, and other servers - For critiques and various suggestions given. Your feedback has improved this costume lineup immensely.

* supercool101 - For BrawlCrate (and BrawlCrate NEXT). A tool no Brawl Modder should do without.

* Adobe - For Photoshop. Namely for image edits and recoloring purposes. Their business practices could use some work, however...

* Nintendo - For providing the concept of Wrecking Crew Mario and the various references for these costumes.
Really, one has to give props to them. Everything they do is so full of wonder and enjoyment. Eons and eons of entertainment can be gained from their games.

Mario wouldn't be Mario without them. Everyone should be giving them more props. Let's not also forget Super Smash Bros. Eternally fun game, that one is. Ever full of fun and excitement -- that's the Nintendo way.

* YOU!!! - For downloading this costume set. Really, I appreciate it and any support you choose to give.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

With everything out of the way, I'm happy to have this done before the end of the year was upon us! It's been...rough, I'll admit, what with 2020 being...well, 2020 and all that. However, I hope that you all enjoy your holidays and you all continue to stay safe. We'll make it. I'm sure of it.

In the meanwhile, if one wants to contact me for anything related to non-mod purposes (or modding purposes), then you can find me over here:

TRIVIA
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* The pink costume was originally based on a flyer for Vs. Wrecking Crew. However, the lack of diversity within the palette didn't sit well with me. So, I changed it.
* Some recolor concepts that didn't make it past the cutting room floor: Robo Mario (Mario Kart Arcade GP), Devil (Devil World), Fio Germi (Metal Slug), Hammerin' Harry, and Engineer (Team Fortress 2).
* Nearly every costume in this set references something. If you haven't figured out what they are, well here you go:

	* CLASSIC:
	  -------------------
	  * RED - Famicom/NES Sprite
	  * GREEN - Mario's Bombs Away art (Game & Watch)
	  * BLUE - Blue Moon Soldier (Famicom Wars)
	  * WHITE - Donkey Kong '98 Sprite (Donkey Kong '98)
	  * PURPLE - Foreman Spike Art (Mobile Golf)
	  * ORANGE - Balloon Fighter Art (Balloon Fight)

	* '98:
	  -------------------
	  * RED - Wrecking Crew '98 Sprite
	  * GREEN - Smash 64 Green Mario (Smash 64)
	  * BLUE - VS. Wrecking Crew Flyer (VS. Wrecking Crew)
	  * PINK - Original
	  * GREY - Roark (Pokémon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum)
	  * YELLOW - Builder Mario (Super Mario Maker)

* The Wrecking Crew '98 costume and the different tattoos for the Classic set were spur of the moment ideas. They do give this pack more meat, so I'm happy I went with them.
* ...there is no 5th trivia point. Merry Christmas!
